Inclusion [ in-kloo-zhuh n ]: noun
the act of including.
the state of being included.
the practice or policy of including and integrating all people and groups in activities, organizations, political processes, etc., especially those who are disadvantaged, have suffered discrimination, or are living with disabilities.
Why do we strive for inclusion? Inclusion is diverse. It's personal. Individualized. It comes in many forms. We believe all people are meant to be and feel included, in whatever ways are meaningful to them.
Servicing in Detroit and surrounding Metro areas, The Inclusion Project aims to provide comprehensive evaluations and interventions to pediatric, school-age, and young adults, to enhance speech, language, and communication abilities. Our goal is to provide functional and client-centered therapy, parent guidance and advocacy, and community education so that children and adults can achieve their optimum level of inclusion through communicative autonomy.
